Chapplehurst is a quiet, private facility, providing the highest level of care for your horse and the best start to it's racing career.

We offer premium breaking-in and early education services, setting up the vital foundations needed to bring out the absolute best performance in each individual horse. Our focus is on providing quality care and meticulous attention to detail of your horse's education. This we take great pride in!
 

Our Breaking-in service includes a period of dressage-based training. The horse is encouraged to move in a natural rhythm, with consistent rein contact. We help the horse to find his/her natural balance and self-carriage, and confidence under saddle.

Looking fit and healthy after 21 days training:

 
Our Customised Early Education service includes a two-three week period of dressage training and pole/cavaletti work, to develop further the rhythm and natural balance for each horse. We also introduce acceleration/deceleration, producing horses that are adjustable and responsive to the rider.
 

Performance Management: at Chapplehurst we also welcome horses that require ongoing special attention and/or corrective education to ensure they return to the track better balanced, freer and more accepting of the rider.
 

Primary trainer, Graham Chapple, is hands on with every horse. He is the ultimate horseman, with 30 years experience including: track-riding, dressage, polo, show-jumping, and young horse sales. His specialty is in conditioning the horse to maximum strength, balance and adjustibility to create winning rides.
